In Montgomery County, when you can’t get to the library, the library comes to you. Whether it’s through our bookmobiles or by mail, we make sure that our residents have easy access to library materials.
Bookmobile
The bookmobile is a library on wheels, visiting areas of the county where there is no local library. “Words on Wheels” is a handicapped-accessible bookmobile that pays bi-monthly visits to older adult clusters, including retirement communities and supervised living facilities in the county. “Words on Wheels” carries large print books, talking books and a collection of standard library materials.
